Lean 101: Practical Skills for Real Change in Public Service

Government work is complex, but improving it doesn't have to be. Lean 101 gives you the tools, mindset, and confidence to tackle inefficiency and lead change - no matter your role.

Since 2015, over 1,000 public servants have taken Lean 101, our full-day introduction to innovation and problem-solving. A great first step for individuals, it also gives teams a common language, methodology, and enthusiasm for taking on change.

Participants Will Build the Practical Skills to Solve Problems and Drive Change:

  • Set measurable goals that focus your team’s energy
  • Spot and remove daily obstacles that slow you down
  • Prioritize ideas so the best ones rise to the top
  • Turn small improvements into lasting change
